Canux is held at the Banff Centre
The Banff Centre is a world class venue dedicated to the arts, creativity and mountain culture.
Registration and your rooms are in the Professional Development Centre. Registration begins at 1:00, with the main conference beginning at 3:00.
Check-in time for our rooms is 4:00, some early check-in may be available. Otherwise, luggage storage is available at the PDC.

Calgary International Airport to Banff
Your best option for getting to Banff from the Calgary International Airport is the Banff Airporter, official airport shuttle provider for the Centre. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery as you travel to Banff.
If you choose to travel by private vehicle, you will find the route is well-signed and the trip from the Calgary International Airport to Banff takes approximately 1.5 hours. View Maps of Calgary to Banff
- Depart airport via Barlow Trail (head towards Calgary City Centre).
- Take 16th Avenue West exit and turn right onto 16th Avenue West.
- Remain on 16th Avenue West through Calgary, it becomes the Trans-Canada Highway 1. Continue to head west on the Trans-Canada Highway 1 and eventually this will take you through the park gates to the exit for the town of Banff.
Banff Town site to The Banff Centre
- Traveling westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway 1 from Calgary, take the first exit to Banff.
- Make a left-hand turn at the base of this exit ramp. Follow this road (Banff Avenue) into the town of Banff. Continue on Banff Avenue.
- At Buffalo Street, (before the bridge) turn left and follow Buffalo Street, continuing up hill where the street becomes Tunnel Mountain Drive.
- Turn left at St. Julien Road into The Banff Centre
- The Banff Centre is revitalizing our campus. Access through The Banff Centre along St. Julien Road will be limited. Please follow signage on site to access parking and check-in areas.
